Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.

WELCOME ABOARD!

Thanks for dropping by. This site is mainly a place I can practice basic web design and try new things for the other sites I do for various places.

Since you're still here, I'll tell you a little about what's inside. A good friend and fellow retired Marine once called me the "Hobby King." (That was before I added R/C planes and boats to the mix...or started brewing beer.) The topics I chose to use for this exercise are current hobbies that I spend some of my time away from work doing. Riding Harley's ranks high on the list, followed by a quest for the "perfect" home-brewed beer. When I find a little free time and no family to spend it with (because of the retail hours I work), I occasionally head for the ham radio to keep up on some Morse code. I'll get back to flying R/C one of these days too, so maybe then I can reclaim my Hobby King distinction.

Pictured at left, I still fit into my Marine Corps Dress Blues after over 10 years out. (Wisconsin cheese curds and beer make it a challenge!) I finished my 20 years active duty in July of 1997, and on Augst 1st of 2007 I received my full retirement papers. Semper fi!

The link below is where I host all of the web pages I have worked on. It's the best you can get - and for a fraction of what other places charge!

MAKIN' SUDS
Life's too short for processed beer. That's why I started makin' my own suds back in 2000. If you want to try that, check out http://wineandhop.com and stop putting inferior beer in your mug!

HAMMIN' IT UP
When I'm not working, riding, or spending time with my family, I like to get into the Ham Shack. My call is AE9W and I can most likely be found frequenting the OMISS Net when I find time to fire up the rig. Check out http://omiss.net for more info.
